Plot and Video breakdown: Beginning

In this post I will be explaining in more detail the shots that I'm going to use for the beginning of the music video. After this, I will be doing the middle and the end with the storyboard/created animatic finishing off the preparation stage of the project. After this is complete, I will be doing a filming schedule as well as location, character and props analysis.

Shots:

1) Shot of a male standing against a wall, which cuts to a car pulling up and two of the Male's friends saying hello

2) The male gets into the car and drives around with his two friends before they pull up at a separate location and enter the house

3)The three friends start to casually drink beer and generally playing about with games consoles etc etc

4) The protagonists girlfriend phones up, however he rejects the call and continues having fun with his mates (this suggests there has been a previous argument or a neglect of the girlfriend for some reason)

5) Again and again the girlfriend calls and this results with him eventually picking up the phone, having a slightly drunken argument with her and throwing the phone down

This beginning attempts to show a rift in the relationship and how the protagonists enjoyable time with his friends turns into someone deciding to drink until they are heavily drunk. This attempts to also show the decision in a negative light.
