Props are essential to a music video as they can represent realism and the audience can identify with it.
The following are used in my video:
1)Controller for PS3 - This is for realism and also is used in conjunction with a stop in the music. This is when the pause button is pressed on the controller
2) A I-Phone 4 - This is a modern smart phone, representative of a student phone in this day and age. It also has big font which will clearly allow the audience to realise that it is the Girlfriend ringing, and understand the importance of the main protagonists neglect in answering at first.
3) Cans and Pints of lager: This is the central theme and comment in the whole of the video idea. The effects of alcohol/too much of it. Also, it is new to the target audience and quite an issue for society which should catch attention.
