How i'm going to employ intertextuality

I have taken inspiration from an image taken from the front of Devlin’s Album “Bud, Sweat and beers.”

I think the image is poignant and has connotations of an urban, home-grown British sound. This idea is currently popular in England because music lovers are beginning to prefer this authenticity to the “commercial acts” that are currently in the charts.

The image of the artist being in front of a brick wall is simplistic, can be used repetitively and can be identified with by the audience. It can also be used as a canvas to write the name of the artist and the song in bold lettering as to highlight this, which will help from an advertising viewpoint. This image can be used through all of my forms of media, as used, as I have discussed previously, by The Streets with their lighter logo.
